March Serve Day | Nehemiah's Wall

Meet in Hanger 316

"Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem,... They replied, “Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work.  (Nehemiah 2: 17-18 NIV)

Technically we're not building a wall, but we are helping a group of people feel safe just as Nehemiah did in the days when they were rebuilding Jerusalem. The Purchased: Not For Sale team needs a large fence put up around their safe houses in South Bossier. We will need all hands on deck... this is a big project.

You may not be able to hang fence pickets, but you can carry them. Plus we'll need a team to prepare some food. Come out and help us "begin this good work."

We are partnering with Men of Courage Lousiana on this project also. It is great to see the Church showing up and being the church.

If you have tools such as aircompressors, nailers, saws, or screw guns, let Raymond know.

We will be leaving our church at 7:30 am and returning around 3 pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Recap

WOW! WOW! WOW!

The church showed up and knocked it out of the park by one reason, God showed up. We had a smaller than normal team. We didn't have the most fence-building skilled team. But what we had were some servants that wanted to do the Lord's work. We got over 500ft of fence up and done just after noon. Wow!

Thanks to the Hub for allowing us to serve you, and thanks to Men of Courage Louisiana for allowing us to be your partner on this great project.
