This four-week series, Add to Cart, challenges the vices of consumerism, avarice, greed and encourages hearers toward contentment, generosity, and godly stewardship.
Money has a way of twisting our good intentions into idols. Practicing faithful generosity allows us to avoid the temptation of greed and instead steward well the gifts God has given us. We find contentment not in the pursuit of more but through gratitude for having our needs met. This isn't to say that having money is bad, in and of itself, but it opens the door to temptations that are not easily avoided.
