Open Road Students

Hangar 316

Our series this month is "Stronger."  Chris and the students will take a look at four major ideas when it comes to failure, pain, hurt, and loss.  An unfortunate reality is that ever since Adam and Eve got kicked out of the garden, people have experienced all these emotions, feelings, or events and that will not stop at our generation or the next.

We've been talking about what we can do when we face losses, challenges, or failures, but today we don't want to talk about your hurt and pain.  Today we are going to talk about what we do when others are hurting.  After Jesus died, rose again, and left earth, Jesus' followers were being capture, imprisoned, tortured, and killed.  The apostle Paul wrote them a letter to encourage them and encouraged them to "Love each other.  Take care of each other."  We know life can get difficult sometimes, both for us and people we love.  But when it does, I hope you'll remember this: when life goes wrong, God gives us each other.

Join us in Hangar 316 as we study from the Word of God to grow as the "sons and daughters of God."  We also will take time out for some fun and games, relaxing and connecting with each other.  See ya' there!!
