Thanksgiving Boxes

Worship Center

Close your eyes just a second (well, wait until I give you what to visualize). Ok, in just a moment, I want you to close your eyes and imagine it's Thanksgiving, and you have nothing on the table. Ok, close your eyes now and imagine.

How did you feel about that? I bet it made you feel sad, scared, unsure, maybe even worthless. Believe it or not, but there are many people in our local area of Haughton, Bossier City, Minden, Doyline, and Shreveport that will not have anything on their table this Thanksgiving.

That's where you come in. I am asking the members and regular attenders of Open Road Fellowship Church to bring with them to church a list (click here) of food items on November 21, 2021. Bring your food in a plastic or paper sack, and deliver it to the designated area in the foyer.

During the services, Open Road Kids will decorate the boxes with colorful messages of hope and love. After the services, those wanting to deliver a box to a family will grab a box and an address to head out. Super simple, and it is a true blessing.

If you are a regular attender of Open Road Fellowship, sign up here to bring a box, deliver a box, or if you or someone you know needs a box. If you do not attend Open Road Fellowship, but you've come across this site and need a box, click here to fill out the form. We're not sure if we'll be able to get to you, but we will try our best.

Remember, you may be at that empty table one day. I hope that somebody would have thought of you enough to bring a box in the name of Jesus.
