Plantation Park Easter Party

Open Road Fellowship Church

Easter is just around the corner, so it is time to get ready to hang out with our kids. Open Road Fellowship has adopted all of the Kindergarten classes at Plantation Park Elementary as part of our commitment to connecting with our community. Each year we get the opportunity to head over to Plantation Park, hang out with the kindergarteners, and have an Easter Egg hunt. The kids and teachers have a blast! If you have never been able to participate in our activities at Plantation Park, you are missing out on a true blessing!

That means it's time to start on the sugar high! It's time to begin collecting individually wrapped candy to stuff into the eggs, lots and lots of eggs. We are starting our collection drive, which will run through Sunday, April 2nd.

Candy can also be delivered to On The Road Coffee Co. (next to Pepe's). The week before Easter, we will get together and pack the eggs, maybe eat a piece or two, and take a moment to pray over the kids we eventually will deliver them to. Let's bring some joy to some children during this Easter season.

HERE'S THE PLAN

  • Candy Collection:  March 12th - April 2nd
  • Candy Drop-off:   Open Road Fellowship or On The Road Coffee Co.
  • Egg Stuffing Party:  Monday, April 3rd at 6:00 pm - Church
  • Easter Egg Hunt With the Kids: Thursday, April 6th, 1 pm - 2:45 pm

Come As You Are - Sundays at 10 am
