Summer Vacation

Worship Center

This four-week series, Summer Vacation, takes summer vacation themes and asks what we might learn about God from them. We will look at nature, frustrating vacation moments, and habits that show us more of God and how we are formed in his image.

Peter’s words to the scattered believers around Asia Minor were instructive and encouraging. If anyone had reason to struggle with waiting on God’s timing, people who are scattered through expansive regions might carry the right to complain. Yet Peter told them otherwise. Instead of grumbling, he told them to show hospitality. If someone had a gift, he said they should share it. He encouraged them to know and trust that God supplies everything in order that people have what they need to do the tasks God has called them to do.
