"Giving refuge to the wanderer and hope to the hopeless."
Hundred of thousands of children enter into foster care every year. Each year 23,000 of these children age out of foster care and become instantly homeless without any social support.
In 2017, an increased need in our area was seen for young women who were facing homelessness due to aging out of foster care or who were seeking refuge due to unsafe living environments. Arvad Ministries was born from that knowledge and in 2022, House of Grace was opened. Every young lady housed receives life skill classes, personal coaching, counseling, and resources to help develop an independent living plan.
There is currently a need for fencing around the property and we are stepping in to help. So, on Saturday, May 24th we are headed out. Meet here at Hangar 316 at 7:00 am. We will assist in putting up the fencing and any other projects they might need help with. This will be our May Serve Day, so we need all hands on deck! See you there!
