If we have been blessed to have someone in our lives who has taken on the task of being a God-centered father for us, God has given them the task of leaving a legacy for us to embrace and prepare to pass along.
Fathers are entrusted with many things related to their children. Paul entrusted wisdom to Timothy, as the authors of Proverbs sought to impart wisdom to their listeners. We must encourage our fathers (biological, adopted or bonus, influencers) to take full advantage of the opportunity to pass along trustworthy sayings that will carry children along the path God has set before them. One day they will be able to influence others, and the legacy they carry will be one their children can joyfully pass along too.
