This four-week series, Turning Points, explores the pivotal times of change in the lives of four people in the Bible. We will observe God's invitation in each of these moments to change and grow in a deeper relationship with Him. We are challenged to trust God even when we don't see an answer. In fact, trusting only when we see the answer doesn't require much faith at all. God wants us to exercise our faith muscle, even when it isn't easy.
When new seasons arise, such as a new marriage, relationship with God, or a new child added to a family, it is right to spend time with God so that we are strengthened with wisdom and understanding. While we're tempted to run frantically because this new season of relationship is exciting or we're eager to impress and do our very best, the Bible seems to communicate that the best way to prepare ourselves is to spend time with Jesus. Time with Jesus will form us into the image bearets He created us to become so that we can reflect his presence to the world around us.
