This four-week series, Turning Points, explores the pivotal times of change in the lives of four people in the Bible. We will observe God's invitation in each of these moments to change and grow in a deeper relationship with Him. We are challenged to trust God even when we don't see an answer. In fact, trusting only when we see the answer doesn't require much faith at all. God wants us to exercise our faith muscle, even when it isn't easy.
When we are stretched—asked to do bigger things with more responsibility—we must rely on God to lead us through it. These turning points can easily distract us from depending on God. We might be tempted to think we arrived at this place because of our own abilities. However, because we are believers and we know God orders our steps, we must remember that he is the reason we are in the places we are and he will provide what we need to do the tasks he has asked us to do.
