Halloween is almost here—and that means it’s time for some fun with the kids! Open Road Fellowship is excited to once again partner with the Kindergarten classes at Plantation Park Elementary as part of our ongoing commitment to connect with and bless our community. Throughout the year, we have the joy of spending time with these amazing students, and this will be our first opportunity of the school year to meet and interact with them. If you’ve never joined one of our Plantation Park events, you’re truly missing out on a special experience! From now until October 26th, we’ll be collecting individually wrapped candy to make sure every child gets a sweet Halloween treat. Let’s fill those bags to overflowing and show these kids some love—plus a little “sugar overload!” Candy donations can also be dropped off at On The Road Coffee Co. (next to Pepe’s).
Let’s make this Halloween one to remember for the kids at Plantation Park!
Monday, October 27th @ 6:00 pm, we’ll gather to bag up all the candy we’ve collected—maybe enjoy a piece or two—and take a moment to pray over the kids who will receive it. It’s always a special time of laughter, teamwork, and purpose.
Thursday, October 31st @ 10:40 am, it’s party time! We’ll meet at 10:15 am in the Wal-Mart parking lot behind Sonic on Airline Drive and head over to Plantation Park as a group. If you ride a motorcycle or drive a jeep, bring it—the kids absolutely love it when we roll up!
Come be part of sharing joy, laughter, and love with our Plantation Park kids. It’s going to be a blast and a blessing!
